Last fall I was invited to local artist Anne Gaffey’s studio, to take some pictures for Ink, a Connecticut lifestyle publication. Anne’s studio is located in a corner unit in Hudsons Oddfellows Building, overlooking the rotary in Hudson’s vibrant downtown . Built in the late 1800s the building features high ceilings and big windows, resulting in an airy light-flooded space that cant help but foster creativity. Back at MICA I loved shooting environmental portraits of my friends in their creative spaces. Twenty five years on, these remain some of my favorite spaces to shoot, full of creative tools and supplies, and art! They never fail to inspire me, and I really enjoyed shooting these.
